The TGA Sports Foundation hosted its 1st Annual Golf-A-thon Charity Fundraiser on November 17, 2013 at Holmby Hills Golf Course at Armand Hammer Park in Los Angeles.  TGA students and participants pledged money, played golf holes, and enriched the lives of youth and families.

In the spirit of the Thanksgiving, participants raised as many pledges possible for each golf hole they completed.  In addition to a day of golf and raising funds, participants enjoyed a free golf skills clinic, lunch, and raffle prizes.

All proceeds from the Golf-A-Thon will go towards funding after-school golf and tennis enrichment programs for under-resourced students in the Los Angeles area.  TGA programs are currently impacting hundreds of schools and more than 6,000 students annually.

“Seeing all of our students so excited to give back to other children their age was wonderful. They truly appreciate being able to take part in TGA programs and want others to have that same opportunity.” – Jamie Zunini, Foundation Coordinator
